Ootoya.

Ootoya opened its first restaurant in Singapore @Orchard Central.. Actually I have no idea.. this restaurant was so famous until I went the last weekend and it was bl*ody full and pack. When I asked the waitress how long do I had to wait, she f*cking told me about 2 hours!!! WTF. Anyway, of course, we gave up the idea of having dinner last weekend.. and yesterday, I finally managed to get to eat my dinner there!!

All I can say, the food was good!! BUT the place is just toooooooo small to cater to such a f*cking long queue…… Open more branches lor… And hor, I didn’t know that Bangkok has so many f*cking branches there can!! Thais must be crazy about Japanese food if you ask me.. In fact, I think Thai really crazy about the whole Japanese culture thingy. Hmm..

超~~おいしい~~!

solo travel, Japan.

Pictures taken from Roppongi Hills, where I’d visited the Mori Art Museum and the Observation Deck overviewing Tokyo city, looking over the prominent Tokyo Tower.

The normal response when one got to know the fact that you have actually travelled alone in Japan, would be “You’re really brave.”

Well, thank you.

Google Maps’ Street View feature.

This new (or probably not so new) to those always-up-to-date-tech ppl.. Anyway, I just need to make myself be in awed in this bloody cool feature. Though it may not be able to update “live” the night/day time, neither can it be the exact season or whatsoever. But the thing is, it is just so damn cool to be able to explore this street view feature.. and it REALLY REALLY takes alot ALOT of power and damn zai pple from Google to be able to get this feature done up man. I think this new feature could be my new added daily hobby and more stupid reasons to go online. Imagine I could explore places like the States, Europe in 3D and able to navigate lah! (though not live, but it’s really REALLY good enough, at least for now). Google is like my god now la. @_@

This is outside the Kyoto Train Station and I passed by here daily when I was in Kyoto taking bus! *Missing Kyoto, missing my travel* Sigh.

伊勢神宮 (Ise Shrine)

Ise Shrine (Naiku Entrance)

へロー・・
It’s me again.. This time.. feeling down cos I’m no longer in a holiday.. No longer in a foreign land.. No longer enjoying solace that I could get in Japan. Sigh.. Plan, plan, plan.. I gotta plan.

Working life is like starting earlier than I expected. And yet, I can’t reject the reality of life that sets in. The land that I stand.. suffocating.. trying to find a breathing space that enables one to remain sane.. plan, plan, plan to another escapade.. yea..

As the title said.. My last trip in Japan out of Nagoya.. I went to Ise Jingu to obtain some “holy-ness” within the Japanese zen-ness. This is known to be the TOP, number ONE shrine in the whole of Japan. Yea… that’s how holy this place is okay… hahaha.. Anyway, went with two Japanese friends whom really help alot during my stay in Japan. 本当にありがとうございました・・いろいろなことを応援してくれた・・やっぱり大体の日本人は優しいですね。感謝の気持ちがいっぱいです・・・

I had a great day trip to Ise… Ise is located in Mie Prefecture and it takes about 1h 40min (JR line) from Nagoya Station to Ise Station. Honestly.. don’t expect much from a station like Ise as compared to Nagoya… (since Nagoya is one of the major cities in Japan) I enjoy the ride with the company of 2 friends talking and practising Japanese with me (somehow). To me.. train ride is one of the best time to enjoy the scenery in Japan.. the many many inaka that I’d passed by.. the Japanese train conductors announcing the next destinations.. reminding passengers when to change the line at which stations.. sighhhh… I am getting withdrawal symptoms again… ugh…

Anyway.. Pictures, pictures.. shall do the favour to make some good visualisation. やっぱり、日本が大好き・・・
